Barbara Ann Warren

BARBARA ANN WARREN Barbara Ann Warren was born September 17, 1948 in Fort Bragg, N.C. the daughter of Russell and Gertrude (Abert) Wynn. She passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the age of 65. On May 2, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nev. Barbara married James Warren. Barbara worked in the Empire Electric front office for 15 years. She was an excellent bowler; bowling on several leagues and earning numerous trophies. Barbara was also a fantastic cook. Everyone's favorites were her cheesecakes and pecan pies. Barbara also loved to play cards especially "Pitch". Surviving Barbara are her husband of 22 years, James Warren of Dolores; her mom, Gertrude Wynn of Salina, Kan.; her daughters, April Long of Las Vegas, Nev., and Heather Kordenbroch and husband, John of Las Vegas, Nev.; her step-children, Michelle Cochrane and husband, Tom and Michael Warren all of Dolores; six grandchildren, Jackie, Sean, Myles, James, Sarah, and Joseph; her brother, Roy Wynn of Salina, Kan.; and a niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Long; her father, Russell Wynn; and her sister, Monica Wynn. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
