AUDREY LOU DOTTS Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident Audrey Lou Dotts will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11 at Vista Mesa Assisted Living. Audrey was born August 21, 1927 in Nashville, Tenn. the daughter of Mentloe and Leila (McDill) Huff. She passed away at Vista Grande Inn on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the age of 82. On January 29, 1943 Audrey married Raymond Dotts in Aztec, N.M. She was a member of Harmony Club in Cortez, and she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, and most especially time spent with family. Surviving Audrey are her children, Donna Carsten of Cortez, Chuck Dotts and wife, Lorna of Gunnison, Colo., and Glenda Dickerson of Houston, Tex.; by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and by her sister, Virginia Steerman of Cortez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mentloe and Leila Huff; her husband, Raymond Dotts; by her sister, Janelle Black; and by two brothers, Mentloe Huff and Dan Huff.
