ARTHUR EARL LANG Funeral services for Arthur Earl Lang, a lifelong resident of Towaoc, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4 at Towaoc Recreation Center. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Arthur, 82, died on October 31, 2015 at Southwest Memorial Hospital. Arthur was born on October 17, 1933 in Towaoc, the son of Charles Parker Lang and Dot Watson (House). Arthur was employed as a truant officer, spent many years with public works, and also owned cattle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. Arthur assisted in set up for Sundance, Beardance, and their Feasts. He was also in attendance. Arthur is survived by his wife, Sarah Hatch of Towaoc; his children Salma Lang of Ignacio, Colo., Charleston Lang, Carleton Lang, Priscilla Blackhawk and Patricia Lopez all of Towaoc, and Theresa Montano (Paskey) of Denver, Colo.; and his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; his children, Mickey Lang and Vernon Lopez; and his siblings, Edgar Buffalo, Maxine Lang and Clarence Lang.
