ARTHUR AUGUSTUS “RUNT” WILSON Funeral services for lifelong Yellow Jacket resident, Arthur Augustus “Runt” Wilson will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery. Arthur was born on Jan. 18, 1921 in Yellow Jacket the son of Charles Wesley and Nancy Ethel (Stevenson) Wilson. He passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004 at his home in Yellow Jacket at the age of 83. Arthur was a family farmer his whole life. He belonged to the Farmer’s Union, the Grange, and the Democratic Party. On June 19, 1950 in Pleasant View, Arthur married Esther Eileen Murphy. Surviving Arthur are his wife of 54 years, Esther Wilson of Yellow Jacket; his children, Arthur Wade Wilson and wife, Debbie, David Andrew Wilson and wife, Beth, Timothy Allen Wilson, Mark Duane Wilson, Virginia Ruth Wilson Francisco and husband, Micheal, and Diana Nadeen Wilson; and grandchildren, Matthew David Wilson and Hannah Elizabeth Wilson; and his sisters and brother, Marjorie Wilson Crowley and husband, JW, Nancy Wilson Erwin, Nellie Wilson Bradfield, Faye Wilson Bertrand, and Larry Wilson and wife, Eloise. Preceding him in death were his parents. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Arthur A. “Runt” Wilson with the Rocky Mountain Farmer Union Education and Charitable Foundation Fund at First National Bank.
