ARNOLD “OZZIE” HATHALE Graveside services for Cortez resident, Arnold “Ozzie” Hathale will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7 at the Cortez Cemetery. A reception will be held following the service at the Calvin Denton room at Empire Electric. Ozzie was born on April 18, 1960 in Monument Valley, Utah the son of Roger and Dinah (Black) Hathale. He passed away on Friday, September 30, 2005 at his home in Cortez at the age of 45. Ozzie was a heavy equipment operator who during his spare time loved watching sports. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan. Harley Davidson Motorcycles were another passion of Ozzie’s. Surviving Ozzie are his wife, Ella Clark; his children, Arnelda Hathale, and Alva Leigh Hathale; his grandson, Morgan Christian Hathale all of Cortez; his mother, Dinah Hathale of TesNezIah, Ariz.; and his siblings, Roy, Tolin, Marena, Susan, Bruce, Anita, Dennis, Stephen, Margaret, Randy, Ben, Mistena and their families; as well as a very large extended family. Preceding him in death were his father, Roger Hathale; his sister and brother, Selena and Wallace; and his nephew, David Paul Benally.
