ANNIE CHARLESTINA MARIA CLARK SAWYER Graveside inurnment services for Albuquerque, N.M. resident and former area resident, Annie Charlestina Maria Clark Sawyer will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 11 at Cortez Cemetery. Annie arrived on Earth May 9, 1951 at 3:55 a.m. at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez. She passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011 at University Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M. at the age of 60. Teddy Sawyer and Annie Sawyer's hearts became one on June 7, 1991 in Albuquerque. Mr. Teddy Sawyer united with our Lord on July 26, 2007 and they made their home in Albuquerque. Mrs. Sawyer attended school in Cortez, Dove Creek, Mancos, Alamosa, and Denver, Colo. (Catholic institution for females.) Then Mrs. Sawyer attended College of Santa Fe, N.M. for one and a half years where she took English 101 and Composition. Surviving Mrs. Sawyer are three aunts, Jane H. Lehi, Jennie H. Kuebler and Irene C. Wittmer of Escondido, Calif.; one uncle, Donald L. Hight of Towaoc; three half-brothers; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews in Towaoc, Colo., Cleveland, Ohio, and Montgomery, Ala. Mrs. Sawyer turned her life around after their matrimony. Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer always (tried) to help those in need, they didn't have much, but they did what they could. Annie would become very sad when she encountered homeless, and other humans that were struggling. She loved them (everybody) and always had a prayer for them. God, Jesus, Mr. Sawyer and all humans came first. Annie always put herself last. Take comfort, those who love will be reunited in eternity.
