Anna spent her life breeding and raising Quarter horses at Summit Ranch, to say the least she was passionate about horses and spent much of her life on the back of a horse. One of her greatest joys was cowboying with the Zwicker’s and many other local ranchers.
Some of Anna’s fondest memories were watching her grandchildren compete in mutton busting and junior rodeos and spent much time reminiscing about them and all the years of cattle drives, branding calves, and the many great horses she had the pleasure of raising and riding in her last days.
Anna has touched the lives of many along her travels. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
There will be a memorial held for Anna at a later date. The family requests that memorial donations be made in Anna’s name to Hospice of Montezuma, PO Box 740, Cortez, CO 81321.
