Anna Belle Thompson

Anna Belle Thompson, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at her home in Dolores, CO surrounded by her family. She was born on January 5, 1930 to Walter and Alice (Pullium) Pigg of Eastwood, MO; she was one of seven children.
Anna enjoyed going to her sons’ and grandchildren’s sporting events and fishing on the Dolores River on Sunday afternoons during the summer. Anna was an avid quilter and made quilts for all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Surviving Anna are her three sons, Alan Thompson (Kristi Muller) of Cortez, CO, Carl Thompson (Pam) of Dolores, CO, and Mark Thompson (Katrina) of Dolores, CO; her brother, Carl Pigg of Saratoga, WY; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers and sisters; and her husband, Burt Thompson.
