Andrew Andy Rizzo

Andrew Andy Francis Rizzo passed away 10/14/2017 at the age of 70 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis and Dementia. He is survived by a son and daughter, his mother, a brother and half sister. Andy is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served with the Air Force in the 6990th Security Squadron and spent time stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He grew up in Commack, NY, son of Frank and Margie Rizzo. Before the Air Force he attended Commack North High School graduating in 1965. After his return to the USA he married, had 2 children who he guided through Boy & Girl Scouts, joyfully officiated football and track and field all while being a real estate broker. He settled in Durango, CO where he found his little slice of heaven, built a log cabin and enjoyed the beautiful world around him. Services will be private.
