Tony Hernandez

Andres A. Hernandez, known by many as Tony, was born in West Texas in the small town of Ft. Stockton. He was the son of Deacon Andres R. and Margarita G. Hernandez. He passed away on Friday March 31, 2023 at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, near Denver, at the age of 62.  

Tony always loved to help people and he learned many skills in order to benefit his communities. He even served as a first responder and firefighter for a few years. He was most proud of his Cross-Connection administrator job which protected the local drinking water from contamination. Tony took extra care to protect and assist children and the elderly most. He also had a passion for travel and music, often carrying his guitar while riding his bike during his youth. He met the love of his life, Maria, who he then married in 1987. Together they moved to Southwest Colorado to start a family. 

Surviving Tony Hernandez are his spouse Maria B. Hernandez of Dolores, CO; his children Nicole Rosales (Chris) of El Paso, TX; Emily Pules of Odessa, TX; Joseph Hernandez (Heather) of White House, TN; John Hernandez of Dolores, CO; and many grandchildren.  

Tony Hernandez was proceeded in death by his parents.
