Alzina Jean Moss

Memorial services for Cortez resident Alzina Jean Moss will be held at a later date.
Jean was born September 16, 1942 in Del Norte, CO the daughter of Fred Willis and Nellie Maude (Shereve) Birdsey. She passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Mercy Hospice House in Durango CO at the age of 77.
Surviving Jean are her spouse, Curtis Moss of Cortez, CO; her children, Nita Harris (Bert) of Aztec, NM, Allen McClure of Aztec, NM, Beverly Neely (Rocky) of Yellow Jacket, CO, Carol McClure (Steve) of Ucolo, CO, Frank McClure of Cortez, CO,; her step daughters, Lalana Dillard (David) of Middleville, FL, and Amber Handrahan (Michael) of Cottonwood, AZ; her brother, Jasper Sutton of Midland, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, August Sutton; her son, Clinton McClure; her sister, Viola Griffin; her brothers, Fred Denton and Ralph Denton; and four grandchildren.
