ALGOT HAROLD "ANDY" ANDERSON Algot Harold "Andy" Anderson was born on March 3, 1920 in Braddock, Penn. the son of Edward and Catherine Ann (Larson) Anderson. He passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Vista Mesa Retirement Center at the age of 89. Andy spent 35 years working as an estimator for a publishing company. He was a member of Elks, Kiwanis, and numerous golf associations. Andy graduated from Carnagie Mellon College. He loved to spend time golfing, deep sea fishing and traveling. Andy never knew a stranger. Surviving Andy are his son, Tim Miller and wife, Sara of Mancos; his grandchildren, Jennifer Davila and husband, Antonio of Bluff, Utah, Erin Nelson and husband, Roger of Sacramento, Calif., and Heather Morgan and husband, Bret of Queen Creek, Ariz.; his great-grandchildren, Francisca, Santiago, Hannah, Tristen, Kaiden, Jackson, Olivia, and Derek; his sister-in-law, Corky Anderson of Pennsylvania; and his nieces, Cathy and Christy, also of Pennsylvania. Andy was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Barbara Ann Anderson; and his siblings, Bill and Porky Anderson. Cremation has taken place and in accordance to Andy's wishes, no services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made in Andy's memory to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O. Box 740, Cortez, Colo. 81321.
