ALFONSO RAUL “FONZ” SENA Memorial services for lifelong area resident, Alfonso Raul Sena will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 1 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Mancos. Reverend Joseph Gallegos, C.R. will officiate. Alfonso, or Fonz as he was known by his family and friends, was born Nov. 20, 1975 in Cortez. He passed away on Wednesday, August 29 in Mancos at the age of 31. Fonz enjoyed jogging and cooking and most especially, time spent with his friends. Surviving Fonz are his mother, Mary T. Sena of Mancos; his companion, Jamie Mueller of Cortez; his children, Cera Sena of Cortez, Dominique Sena of Durango, Nevaeh Sena and Mylee Sena both of Mancos, and Odyssey Sena of Ignacio; his sister, Alicia Sena of Cortez; and his grandmother, Mary B. Sena of Mancos. Also surviving Fonz are his cousins, Lauri Valdez, Steve Valdez, Mya Garcia, Lucia Bueno, Leland Garcia, Gabriel Gallegos, Mike Valdez, Anthony Valdez, and Joel Valdez; niece, Andrea Sena; nephews, Luika Cova and Christian Cova; aunt, Anita Sena; and God Parents, Robert and Erma Sena of Grand Forks, N.D.
