ALEX CAYCE EYETOO Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident Alex Cayce Eyetoo will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26 at the Towaoc Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at the Towaoc Cemetery. Reverend Bud Rousset will officiate. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday afternoon from 1 to 6 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Alex was born on May 7, 1968 in Cortez the son of Raymond and Elizabeth (Armenta) Eyetoo. He passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 at his residence at the age of 39. Alex loved spending time with his friends near and far. He was an excellent artist and enjoyed cooking, dancing, cards, dominoes, attending cookouts, hunting and fishing. Surviving Alex are his mother, Elizabeth Eyetoo; his children, Autumn Eyetoo of Durango, Colo., and Drake Eyetoo of Montana; his siblings, Aaron Eyetoo and wife, Judy, Lionel Collins, Lawrence Collins, and Leona Collins, all of Towaoc, Julia Mirabal and husband, Vince of Glendale, Ariz., Eric Eyetoo and wife, Ruby of Dolores, and Shelley Eyetoo of Towaoc; his grandmother, Stella Eyetoo; his aunts, Sherry Eyetoo of Towaoc, Doris Heart of Towaoc, and Dixie Eyetoo of Mescalero, N.M.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and his brothers, Raymond Eyetoo Jr. and Reyes Eyetoo.
