Adrian Guy Simpson led a full and wonderful life and leaves behind family and friends who will remember him always. He was born on February 19, 1941 to Anna (Burke) and Gabriel Marion Simpson. He died on Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was 80 years old.
Adrian is remembered for his enjoyment of the outdoors, his enthusiastic love of the old west and mountain man culture, his passion for planes, his smile, his sage advice, his service to his faith and church, and his love for his family, which he showed by working hard to support his loved ones.
He met his sweetheart, Caroline Holiday at BYU. While courting, he took a picture of Caroline in her traditional Navajo regalia for the Miss Indian BYU pageant, and he carried that photo of his beloved with him in his wallet, always, for the rest of his life.
Adrian is survived by his wife, Caroline; his six children, Caroleen (Steve) Johnson, Corey (Lita) Simpson, Waylen Simpson, Verlinda (Jared) Turley, Calvin (Karen) Simpson, and Merrill (Kobie) Simpson; his brother, Dehlin Simpson; and his sister, Ramona (Allen) Horton.
